Using your natural baby hairbrush gently brush the hair when it is wet or damp. Use gentle strokes and avoid pulling or tugging. 

If the hair is longer, you may find it is better to divide the hair into sections, brushing each section at a time, gently brushing through any tangles and knots, making it more pleasurable for you and your baby. 

Does your baby suffer from cradle cap?

Gentle brushing of the scalp with our soft baby brush will help to reduce cradle cap by gently removing cradle cap flakes. Before brushing, massage your baby's head with a small amount of emollient (i.e. baby oil, olive oil, white petroleum jelly) to help loosen the crust. After brushing, wash your baby's hair with an unperfumed, mild baby shampoo. 

Remove any hair or debris from the soft bristles with your fingers or a wide toothcomb.

A wet damp cloth can be used to freshen up the bristles when needed. If a deeper clean is required, wash only the bristles with a mild baby shampoo or baby wash. Rinse under clean water to remove all the soap.

Keep the wooden handle dry to prevent cracking or discoloration. Do not submerge in water. If wet, let the brush air dry in a wet ventilated area.
