Our Story: From Mom to Inventor

This is me, eight years ago with my daughter when she was just a few days old. This is also my invention, Baby Nails®. It's a wearable baby nail file and the tool I'm wearing on my thumb, we named it the Thumble®. Like a thimble, but for the thumb. With no sharp blades, it's a super safe solution to baby nail care. It's just perfect to use when feeding or cuddling your baby.

How the Idea Was Born

The idea for Baby Nails came about not long after our son was born. His nails grew really quickly and were very sharp. While breastfeeding one day, I tried to file his nails with one of my nail files out of the bedside drawer.

This is when my idea for a wearable nail file came to me. Something that I could place over my thumb, allowing me to cuddle him and not worry about dropping the nail file.

Helping Parents Worldwide

Baby Nails has won many awards and it's sold worldwide. I'm so proud of my invention and it fills my heart with joy to know I created a safe solution to help other parents care for their children's nails.

I never expected when I became a mom I would become an inventor too.
